Wonder Tree
The Wunder-Baum is not only world-famous today, but has also achieved almost cult status. Originally developed in 1952 by Swiss-Canadian chemist Julius Sämann, the Wunder-Baum was created as a solution to a problem that many drivers faced: unpleasant odors from milk transported in trucks. Sämann, inspired by his studies of the scents of pine trees in the Canadian forests, developed the first air freshener in the shape of a small tree with a characteristic scent.
Since then, the Wunder-Baum has found its way into cars and car enthusiasts all over the world and has become an icon of both function and style. In addition to the traditional location in the car, the small scented trees are now also used in many other contexts, such as in garbage cans, bathrooms, caravans and boats, where they effectively combat unwanted odors. The range has grown significantly over the years, and today there is a wide range of different scents - from sweet and fruity to masculine aromas.
Over time, many new products have also been added that offer alternative ways to diffuse pleasant scents. These include INVISI, a discreet air freshener, Bottles that provide fragrance in liquid form, Clips that can be easily attached to ventilation systems or rearview mirrors, and not least the new Fiber Can, which combines long-lasting fragrance with a compact design.
Wunder-Baum is therefore not just a product, but part of a larger world of fragrances that continues to evolve.
