Phoenix Gold 4-channel active front DSP amplifier for BMW
Upgrade the sound in your BMW with the Phoenix Gold ZDAP-BMW1 – a Plug & Play DSP Power Up Kit developed specifically for BMW models with the original Basic Sound System from 2005–2019. The system solves a well-known problem where door speakers and under-seat woofers are connected, thus compromising sound quality.
In the standard setup, the small 4” front speakers are forced to reproduce deep bass, which creates distortion and unclear sound. At the same time, the woofers have to handle mid-range and treble frequencies that they are not designed for. The result is a flat and imprecise sound experience.
With the ZDAP-BMW1, the signals are separated, and the system is made active via the powerful ZDA4.8 Class A/B DSP amplifier (4 x 70W RMS). Each speaker now only operates within the frequency range it was designed for, which reduces distortion and provides significantly better clarity and dynamics.
The built-in DSP provides full control over the sound with a 31-band parametric equalizer, adjustable crossovers, and time correction. OEM Impedance Simulation (OIS) ensures seamless integration with the car's original head unit, while Input Priority preserves all important system sounds.
