Why you should choose a car radio with Apple CarPlay
With Apple CarPlay, you get a smarter and safer driving experience. Your iPhone connects to the car radio via cable or wirelessly (depending on model), and you can control functions via touchscreen, voice command (Siri) or steering wheel controls.
Advantages of Apple CarPlay:
- Navigation with Apple Maps or Google Maps
- Streaming from Spotify, Apple Music etc
- Hands-free calling and messaging
- Voice control via Siri
- User-friendly and clear screen
This means you don't have to hold the phone in your hand and get a more integrated solution in the car.
1-DIN and 2-DIN car radio with Apple CarPlay
We offer both:
1-YOUR car radio with Apple CarPlay
Perfect for cars with a smaller radio opening. Many models have a flip-out screen so you still get full CarPlay functionality.
2-DIN car radio with Apple CarPlay
The most popular solution with a larger touchscreen and often additional functions such as Android Auto and DAB+.
If you are unsure which size will fit in your car, we recommend measuring the radio opening or contacting us for guidance.
Wireless or wired Apple CarPlay?
Some car radios support wireless Apple CarPlay, while others require a USB connection. Both solutions provide the same functionality – the difference lies primarily in comfort and charging options.
Combine with better sound
If you want to get the most out of your new car radio with Apple CarPlay, you can upgrade the rest of the audio system with:
- New car speakers
- Subwoofers
- External amplifier
This way you get both modern features and significantly better sound quality.
