Installation is 100% Plug & Play. Disconnect the plug from the original amplifier, connect the included ZDC-BMW1 cable set, and connect to the ZDA8.8 – without coding or modifications to the car.
With the built-in DSP, you get full control over the sound experience via a 31-band parametric equalizer, advanced filter types, and time alignment. OEM Impedance Simulation (OIS) ensures full compatibility with the car's head unit, and Input Priority retains all original functions and system sounds. Additionally, a free DSP-RCA output allows for easy expansion with, for example, a subwoofer.
