Phoenix Gold ZDAP-MB2 – DSP Upgrade for Mercedes Sprinter (7″ display)
Upgrade the sound experience in your Mercedes Sprinter with the ZDAP-MB2 DSP Power Up Kit – a tailored Plug & Play solution developed for Sprinter models from 2018 onwards with a 7″ display and factory-fitted basic sound system. The system delivers a significant improvement in clarity, dynamics, and power – without interfering with the car's original installation.
The heart of the solution is the ZDA4.8 Class A/B DSP amplifier with 4 x 70W RMS. Unlike traditional Class D amplifiers, Class A/B technology delivers a warmer and more natural sound, where details and nuances become more pronounced. Even without DSP adjustments, a significant improvement is experienced – and with the built-in DSP, the sound system can be precisely fine-tuned according to needs and musical taste.
The included ZDT and ZDC cable sets ensure a simple and professional installation. The ZDT connects directly behind the original head unit without cutting into the wiring harness, ensuring stable power and clean signal transfer. The ZDC routes the connection to the DSP amplifier, which is typically placed under the front seat, ensuring a discreet installation.
OEM Impedance Simulation (OIS) guarantees correct integration with the car's head unit, while Input Priority retains all original functions and system sounds. With four DSP-configurable RCA outputs, the system can be expanded with, for example, a subwoofer for even more bass and fullness – ideal for both work and camper builds.
