Phoenix Gold ZDAP-MB1 – Exclusive DSP Upgrade for Mercedes (2018–)
Upgrade the audio experience in your Mercedes with the ZDAP-MB1 DSP Power Up Kit – a dedicated Plug & Play solution developed for Mercedes models from 2018 onwards with a factory-fitted basic sound system. The system delivers a significant improvement in clarity, dynamics, and detail – without interfering with the car's original installation.
At the core of the upgrade is the ZDA4.8 Class A/B DSP amplifier with 4 x 70W RMS. Unlike traditional Class D amplifiers, Class A/B technology delivers warmer, more natural, and more refined sound reproduction. The result is a more vibrant and engaging music experience – even without DSP adjustments. With the built-in DSP, the sound system can also be precisely fine-tuned to your preferences.
Installation is simple and secure via the included ZDT and ZDC cable sets. The ZDT connects directly behind the original head unit without cutting into the wiring harness, ensuring stable power and clean signal transfer. The ZDC carries the connection to the DSP amplifier under the front seat for discreet and professional mounting.
OEM Impedance Simulation (OIS) ensures full compatibility with the Mercedes head unit, while Input Priority retains all original functions and system sounds. With four DSP-configurable RCA outputs, the system can easily be expanded with, for example, a subwoofer for even more bass and depth.
