Upgrade the sound experience in your MG with the ZDAP-MG2 DSP Power Up Kit – a dedicated Plug & Play solution developed for MG models from 2009 onwards with Quadlock connector and factory-fitted basic sound system. The system provides a significant improvement in clarity, power, and dynamics – without any intervention in the car's original installation.
The core of the upgrade is the ZDA4.8 Class A/B DSP amplifier with 4 x 70W RMS. Unlike traditional Class D amplifiers, Class A/B technology delivers a warmer and more natural sound, where details and nuances stand out more clearly. Even without DSP adjustment, a significant improvement is experienced – and with the built-in DSP, the sound system can be precisely fine-tuned according to your preferences and musical taste.
Installation is simple and professional via the included ZDT and ZDC cable sets. ZDT connects directly behind the original head unit without cutting into the wiring harness, ensuring stable power and clean signal transmission. ZDC carries the connection further to the DSP amplifier, which is typically placed under the front seat, ensuring a discreet and neat installation.
OEM Impedance Simulation (OIS) ensures correct integration with the car's head unit, while Input Priority preserves all original functions and system sounds. With four DSP-configurable RCA outputs, the system can easily be expanded with, for example, a subwoofer for even more bass and fullness.
