Phoenix Gold ZDAP-VOL1 – DSP upgrade for Volvo High Performance Sound
Upgrade the sound experience in your Volvo with the Phoenix Gold ZDAP-VOL1 DSP Power Up Kit – specifically developed for models with High Performance Sound System and original amplifier with 5 pins. The kit is equipped with the powerful ZDA6.8 Class A/B DSP amplifier, which delivers significantly better dynamics, clarity, and detail than the factory-installed solution.
Installation is 100% Plug & Play. Disconnect the plugs from the original amplifier under the passenger seat, connect them to the included ZDC-VOL1 cable set, and then connect the cable to the ZDA6.8 amplifier in the trunk. No wire cutting and no coding – just simple integration with impressive results.
The ZDA6.8 uses Class A/B technology, which provides warmer and more natural sound reproduction than traditional Class D amplifiers. The built-in DSP allows for precise fine-tuning via PC software with 31-band EQ, advanced filters, and time correction.
With OEM Impedance Simulation (OIS), full compatibility with the car's head unit is maintained, and Input Priority ensures that all original functions and system sounds continue to work seamlessly. In addition, two extra DSP-RCA outputs allow for expansion with, for example, a subwoofer amplifier.
