What is K&N Typhoon®?

The K&N Typhoon® Air Filter System is built for High Performance. The Typhoon® Air Filter System consists of a custom aluminum intake manifold - designed to fit most high-performance vehicles and muscle cars. Each kit is dynamometer proven to increase horsepower and torque. Typhoon® air filter systems come in one of three designs; Cold Air Intake (CA), Short RAM Intake (SR) or Complete Cold Air Intake (CCA), which can be configured as either a cold air intake or a short RAM intake. All K&N air filter systems come with an oversized High-Flow conical air filter designed to provide increased surface area and dust capacity. This additional surface area provides even better airflow than a standard K&N panel filter, which is limited to the size of the factory-installed air filter box.
