The K&N 69-3530TS Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to fit some Ford Fiesta and Ford Fiesta VI models.
The restrictive factory air filter and air filter housing are replaced by a K&N Typhoon air intake, which is designed to dramatically reduce airflow restriction as it smooths and straightens airflow. This allows the engine to inhale a larger amount of air than with the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range.
The 69-3530TS air intake comes with a black rubber-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield, which installs where the original air filter housing was mounted.
Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine's turbo inlet for a guaranteed power gain. The tube has a beautiful textured black powder-coat finish that is built to last and accommodates the factory mass air flow sensor and crankcase vent hose.
The oversized, cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 160,000 km before servicing is needed, depending on driving conditions.
The air intake is relatively easy to install, usually in under 90 minutes using the existing mounting points. The necessary tools are a screwdriver, a ratchet set, and several wrenches.
